FLORIDA: EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK

Everglades National Park protects the largest subtropical wilderness in the U.S. Its landscape provides critical habitat for numerous rare and endangered species like the manatee, American crocodile, and the elusive Florida panther. The park is a World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Reserve that is home to mangroves, marshes, pine flatwoods where visitors can camp, hike, kayak, bike, or go boating.
